Purchased the rainbow rug for my kids play area. It’s so soft and colorful, and the kids love sitting and laying on the rug. It’s also much thinner than expected, but it’s sitting on our carpeting, so not too big a deal. It might be too thin for hard floors without a thick rug pad. It doesn’t bunch or move around sitting atop our carpet which is great, too!
I was a little worried when I read the repeated complaints about the thickness but for the price it’s not bad. Imagen a slightly thicker foam drying mat. It may not protect the kids like a regular carpet when they wrestling around but it’s significantly better then bare hardwood floors.
