OMG! I cannot recommend these enough!
We are renting a house, that has zero overhead lighting and every room is so dark. I was thinking it was going to get me depressed living in this really dark house, and I need to buy some lamps. So first I just hung up Christmas lights everywhere but that was a little too much “Winona Ryder in stranger things”… LOL . . I looked at IKEA, but they were not doing any delivery. So I just browsed and found these ones.
Took about five minutes to put together, super simple. And the light feels natural and two lamps totally illuminate an otherwise totally dark room. The lights also have three different type of lighting, there’s one that is warm, then the other two are a little bit cooler, white or light. They come with a remote control, though I don’t know that I’ll ever use it. The switch is on the middle of the lamp, and a very light touch turns the lamp on.
I am now going to order two more, one for the bedroom and one for the kitchen!
If you live in a dark house and don’t want to get depressed you need these lamps!!!
Update — the remote controls allow you to dim the lights, so they are useful. And I velcroed the bedroom remote to the wall by the light switch so I can turn it on as soon as I go in the room.
Super bright, easy to assemble, and use. Lots of dim settings and the ability to change the color is awesome.
I was looking for a lamp for my office/studio. I wanted something that would be bright when I needed it, but that I could also dim when I wanted. This lamp is everything I was looking for. It was easy to put together, and gives off a huge amount of light. I really like the ability to choose between warm, white, and cool white settings. I keep mine on warm for a nice comfortable atmosphere. The dimming is nice and smooth, and will dim to the point where it's fairly dark. The magnetic remote control is a great feature, but honestly I don't find myself using it all that much. The one negative thing I have to say is that the light doesn't come on instantly, it takes a second or two for the light to activate when you turn it on. I have mine plugged into a wall outlet that's controlled by a light switch, but it happens when using the remote as well. It's not a deal breaker for me at all, but something to be aware of nonetheless. Overall I am very happy with this purchase...so much so that I bought a second one to replace the lamp in my living room.
