I had looked at this light for a while because I wanted a cool desk lamp. I kept telling myself, "If it's hideous, I can send it back." It's not going back; Monkey Man is staying. I am going to shop for the standing version for the shelf above my desk. Even my husband, who doesn't care much for things like this, thinks it's fantastic. This light is so cool. It is bigger than I expected (I know; I could have read the specifications). His tail can be removed, so if you want him pushed into a corner, remove it. I thought it would be a cheap-looking tiny trinket, but instead, I got a substantial light. He makes my office nook look like a jewel box.

I am extremely happy with this purchase.I was very hesitant to purchase this lamp, I sat on it for a while, because it was about half the price of another similar monkey lamp, and I was worried that if I spent less, the quality would be poor.But this lamp is extremely well made and looks perfect. All the details are realistic and clean. I’m very happy with this purchase! If you’re wondering whether or not to buy it - go for it! It’s certainly a statement piece.

I’m in love with these lamps.

I love this lamp. We named him "Nigel" and he greets everyone at the end of the hallway when they come into the home. At night we turn him on and he comes to life even more. The quality is good for the price. The lamp works well, and it's not overly heavy or burdensome to stack on light things.He's always the "light" of the party. :-)

The detailing on his little face gets me every time. I'm really picky, and I can honestly say that these really don't look or feel like a cheap Chinese knock-off. I will absolutely vouch for the quality of the product, and would definitely buy again.I have these in my bathroom, as you can see in the pics, and they’re definitely a big hit with all the guests. Really charming lamps. Super happy with them.
