Little Oreo Yellow Duck Night Light | Yedwo

I was so excited to receive this little bean-duck in the mail. it is a little smaller than I expected but that’s okay! It’s about the size of a coffee mug. The silicone material is so soft and plush. It’s so calming to have it glow in the dark beside you and really creates this cozy atmosphere. It’s helpful to have two settings for the light! One is low and warm the other is just brighter! I love the timer feature as well, it’s useful for when I’m about to fall asleep.So far the battery life has been okay. I find I have to charge it frequently.

I bought my duck light two years ago, and it's worked perfectly ever since, even though I use it multiple times daily. I don't live in a house with small children and have so far treated it gently, so I can't vouch for how well it would function after the wear and tear of being used by kids. But it is definitely soft, doesn't get hot, and is a very cute decoration. I like that you can just pat it on the head to turn it on and off, which is a lot easier than picking it up, turning it over, and fumbling around in the dark to try and feel around for a small button or switch. All you have to do is give it a gentle tap. I also like the fact that it's rechargeable, and can be set to turn off after fifteen minutes, since I tend to be forgetful and could accidentally leave it on. It's also come in handy during power outages as emergency lighting.I'll admit it: this was an impulse-buy, because I saw a popular streamer purchase it, and I just thought it was cute. But since I've used it so much over the past two years, I decided to come back to the listing and leave some feedback, because I really do appreciate how useful my little duck has been, even if it wasn't something I thought I needed at the time.And, of course, I named him Benson. :)

Works great! I use it as a nightlight for nursing and it’s not too bright. I had to charge it for the first time since I bought it a couple weeks ago.

His name is Ducky, I bought him because I watch scary videos before bed and then when I have to navigate to the bathroom at 3 am, everything is the enemy. He has exceeded all expectations, I adore him. There's two brightness settings and a switch on the bottom to make him turn off at 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or infinite. I would advise against staring at his face for too long though, he stares right into your soul and it's a bit unnerving. The battery life is solid, I plugged him in for like an hour before bringing him to bed, I could have sworn I turned him off before I fell asleep but he was on in the morning so the battery does seem to last a long time.

I bought this for one of my students, but it's actually quite cute since I've checked it out myself. The silicone has a nice, soft feel. The light has a soft, warm glow. The high setting isn't super bright, so I would not use it for any kind of brighter light that you need to truly see what you're doing. It's definitely more of a gentle mood lighting. It's very sensitive, so you can give it a gentle bop anywhere on the duck to turn it on or off. I haven't had a chance to truly test the battery life out as I just checked it out today. I haven't been able to check the timer function out either, but I'm sure the battery and timer are just fine. I took pictures from the front of the duck trying to show the two different brightness settings, but I don't think it really came through. It fits in my hand quite well, so it's not too big a size either. I'm excited to give it to my student tomorrow and I hope they love it!
